Monte Cristo Sandwiches

A Monte Cristo sandwich is traditionally a fried meat and cheese sandwich with yogurt or jam on the side for dipping.  This is a healthier non-fried version that still tastes like a treat. I made these this weekend for the boys for the first time and they were simple, fun, and tasted a little like fair scones. Needless to say, the boys loved them.

Ingredients:
- Ultra thin sliced deli meat of your choice (I used thin sliced turkey)
- Cheese or combination of cheeses of your choice (I used tillamook cheddar)
- Pillsbury Crescent rolls (one can makes 4 sandwiches)
- Boysenberry jam (or other jam if you prefer, but the boysenberry is perfect with this)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Directions:
- Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with Pam or a non-stick spray.
- Unroll the crescent rolls, keeping them in rectangles. Press together an loose seams.
